All-Terrain Kayak and Canoe Cart review

All-Terrain Center Kayak and Canoe Cart review for you in this article. This one’s from a company by the name of suspends sport. They sell a bunch of different products for kayaks canoes paddleboards, and they’ve got all different types of products whether it be stored for when your kayaks are not used and you want to store them up on a rack or if you want to transport them.

They’ve got all different types of cards, You can check out their website. I’ll put the link in the description. But the review today he’s going to be on there ATC All-Terrain Kayak and Canoe Cart.

And one thing I will tell you that I like about this card is it is ultra-light. I made a custom kayak cart that I welded together out of some tubing and it is so heavy and the cool thing about this ATC All-Terrain Kayak and Canoe Cart. Is it weighs 17 pounds but you’re able to haul up to 300 pounds. So, to be so light.

It is really really strong and then they’ve gone a step further and they figured out a way to make this thing collapsible where you can take in a break the wheel with the wheels down and it pretty much lays flat and it pretty much.

Goes together with, this little hand Fastener right here. It’s basically a nut on the other side, but it’s made where you can grip it with your hand and all you do is just unscrew this real easy and  Once you take this off,

then I will show you how you can just fold this thing up really easy and I’m going to pause it and I’ll be right back and with cart flipped over. I got the cart flipped over and  I’ve loosened this thing up to where it’s about to come off and hopefully I don’t drop it on the floor.

But if I do, oh, well, let’s see here. What I knew I was going to drop it. What you do is you just take and pull that little axle out of that little bracket right there. And then you just lay this thing down flat and basically the other side does the same thing and the cart just lays down flat

and I’ll take and  I’ll flip it back over and I’ll show you just how flat this thing lays out and you can get an idea of it and decide what you think. All right, guys, I got this thing.

All laid down flat is low as it will go and I took and screwed the little hand nuts back on the axle and I’ve got a tape measure out so you can kind of get an idea of just how low this thing is. And I don’t know if you can see the tape measure or not, but it’s about nine inches, so to be We’ll have a cart that can fold down to 9 inches. That’s pretty impressive.

I wanted to also measure the length of the cart and I’ve got a tape measure laid out down here and you can see that it’s roughly. Let’s just say 30 inches long. And we’ll go ahead measure the width.

And it’s roughly about  16 inches wide. Maybe it just hairless. So this thing is really really Compact and again it  17 pounds, this thing is a Powerhouse, to be able to fold up this small and to be able to carry up to 300 pounds and it only weighs 17 pounds. That’s pretty impressive.

While I have this ATC All-Terrain Kayak and Canoe Cart flipped upside down. I wanted to go ahead and show you whenever you get the cart. The first thing that you’ll want to do it is put the axle here into this little brace right here and all you need to assemble.

This thing is just a little adjustable wrench, everybody’s probably got one of these lying around your house. If you don’t they’re like for super cheap at a  hardware store or Walmart, whatever is close to you, but this thing puts together really really easy and as I said on this side of the axle is gone.

The two lists nut for your hand where you can just grab a hold of it and it’s really easy to tighten up. And so I’m going to go ahead and flip the card over and that way you can see what it looks like with it flipped upside down or the right side up. I’ve got the cart flip back up. And the first thing that you noticed it is there’s a kickstand that’s popped down that’s holding the tire off the ground.

Well, the reason they have that kickstand on there and a lot of you are probably thinking the same thing that I did when I first have seen the product online as I don’t really need that kickstand. What’s that thing for and after you get this thing and you look at it, you’re like, oh wow, you do need to the kickstand.

Basically, if you don’t have the kickstand what’s going happen is you’re going to try to take your kayak off your trailer or out of the bed of your truck and you’re going to try to set it on your ATC All-Terrain Kayak and Canoe Cart right here. Well, if that kickstand not down the first thing that’s going happen your car is this going to fall back because there’s nothing holding it up.

So this kickstand is spring-loaded and it just pops down and then when you get ready to remove the kickstand You do is just reach down here and pull it down and I’m trying to do this one-handed and not break my kitchen table.

But as you can see it’s spring-loaded. So it just pops in place. There’s the spring little tension spring. So when you remove that kickstand, just pops up and it’s out of your way. But as you can see what I was telling you if you don’t have that cake stand you not going to be able to load that kayak on there because your car is just going to fall.

Words are for words, and, that’s no fun trying to the fight and try to get that your kayak in this car.

So the kickstand does play a major part in this car and that is a really good feature to have. One other thing about this cart that makes it really adjustable is it has these little quick disconnect pins and I’ve already unfastened the clasp on this one just so I can pull it off real easy while I’m trying to film but the reason you can pull that off is it has different holes.

So if you’ve got a real narrow kayak, then you can adjust the padded bars to fit your kayak and it’s got several different settings. So I think there are three different holes in it. So you can go to three different directions this way.

And then you can go several directions this way When I say directions I’m talking about different angles, there are three different angles going this way and then there are three different adjustments going this way. So, you just take and you find whichever one is perfect for your kayak and then you just pop this little clip back in there and they even went as so far is to give you a lanyard.

I’ll show you a picture right here. There’s the lanyard and you just attach it to Clip so that way you don’t lose it. So that is really really handy as well and I’ll go ahead and tell you these pads are nice and soft.

They’ve got like a velcro strip on them where you can pull them off and if the foam ever worn out underneath you can probably you know, take and get a replacement and you know, put your velcro back on there and you know, why Allah. You’ve got a   replacement. So one other thing that you’ll notice is the finish on this card. It is made out of steel, but it does have a powder coat finish.

As long as you don’t scratch it up, it’ll fight rust and prevent rust from occurring now if you get some scratches on it, it will Rust I mean that’s typical with all kinds of surfaces, but I will  That you can hear me scratching on it with my fingernail just digging into it and, it doesn’t hurt it.

It is a very durable finish and so guys, check it out, you know suspend sells lots different stuff lots of different products and you know, they really did a really great job at the hit, thinking of how to

design This car and, it really comes with everything that you need.  I will say it even comes with a  cam Buckle strap so you can take and hook your cam Buckle strap right in here to the side of the cart. And then right over the top of the year your kayak and then you’ve got the cam Buckle right here where you can adjust down on it and tighten it up.

So they have really really thought of lat Of cool things and so I don’t think you’ll find a cart that’s lighter than this one, 17 pounds. I don’t think you’ll be able to find a cart that holds as much weight as this one. This one’s  300 pounds and  I just don’t think you’ll be able to find something in that combination that has this much to offer.
